This mountain villa near Sochi was designed for a large family who sees their home as a gathering place. Frequent meetings with relatives and friends shaped the core concept — the interior needed to function comfortably for a larger number of people while still providing calm, balance, and privacy for everyday family life.

The spatial organization is based on clearly defined, generous zones that allow a natural flow of movement and use. Special attention was given to material selection, prioritizing durability and ease of maintenance to support intensive use.

Stone plays a dominant role in the spa area, introducing a sense of luxury, solidity, and timelessness, while also ensuring practicality and longevity. The combination of stone and wood creates a refined balance between elegance and warmth. Wood was used not only as a finishing material but also as a strong architectural element — particularly in ceiling treatments, where it enhances spatial perspective and subtly defines functional areas.

The villa was conceived primarily as a place of enjoyment, relaxation, and togetherness. Through thoughtful spatial planning, material articulation, and atmosphere, the design aims to achieve both representativeness and intimacy — reflecting the lifestyle of the family it was created for.
